Take Professional Development from D&A in the comfort of your home, or at school while teaching a PFL course.
You will gain confidence and knowledge through learning a deep understanding of personal finance, how to apply social-emotional learning to this life-changing topic and how to integrate a thinking pedagogy to prepare students for making real-life decisions. You will also have the benefit of discussing your experience with the D&A Resource Team and create personal goals for financial independence.
PD offers up to 50 hours of TEA-approved professional development. It is a blended online course with interactive assignments reviewed by the publisher, Decker & Associates, Inc. The tuition in 2024 is $275 ($5.50/ PD hour).
Note, payment may be made by district PO or by check to Decker & Associates, Inc., 10655 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77024. Once licensed, no refunds are given. D&A Resource Team serves as your coaches, and mentors for this course. Resource members are there to help, if you want their help.
